The Weed Warriors program encourages students to express what they what have learnt, experienced or enjoyed about being a Weed Warrior through words and images. In doing so participants develop a sense of pride in their accomplishments and are given an opportunity to help to educate and encourage others in their community and, through the Mentor program 'Linking Weed Warriors', across Australia.
Encouraging creative communication extends the benefit of the Weed Warriors program beyond teaching and learning opportunities in science and the environment through to outcomes across a broad spectrum of the syllabus.
The examples of 'Weed Warriors at work' contained in these pages demonstrate the obvious inspiration and enjoyment that is shared by being a part of the Weed Warriors experience.
