The next step
Registering an initial Weed Warriors school and the purchase of a Starter Kit form the entry point into the Weed Warriors program. It is the responsibility of a Key Contact, not the school itself to register for the program*
Registering a Weed Warriors school enables Key Contacts and teachers to secure the resources and information needed to run the program, will ensure program participants enter the accreditation scheme, have access to the password-protected section of the Weed Warriors website and receive regular newsletters. Registered Weed Warriors schools will also be offered the opportunity to link up with other Weed Warriors around Australia.
* Note for interested teachers
The support provided to teachers by Key Contacts is central to the success of the Weed Warriors program, so it is discouraged for schools without an identified Key Contact to enter the program.
In the event of your school not knowing a suitable Weed Warriors Key Contact, either approach the national or state Weed Warriors coordinator or download and return the request for key contact form provided.
